Dr. Kristine Forrest

General Dentist

After earning her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of Toronto and working as a researcher, Dr. Kristine Forrest realized that her true passion lay in having a more hands-on approach while helping others.

She moved west to earn her DMD degree from UBC. Shortly after earning her dental degree in 2008, Dr. Forrest joined the team at Pure Dental.

Moving to Kamloops after earning her doctorate was an easy decision for Dr. Forrest and her husband Brad – our small community with plenty of outdoor space is a perfect place to raise a family, which now includes two daughters.

In their spare time, Dr. Forrest and her family enjoy time baking cookies together and spending time outdoors with their Boston Terrier, Stella. She loves driving, winter skiing, reading, and camping.
Dr. Peter Kiss

General Dentist

As a pre-teen, Dr. Peter Kiss had at least one filling in 26 out of 28 teeth and the experience he went through to restore his teeth is something he wouldn’t wish on anyone – let alone a child. This prompted a strong desire to learn all he could about preventing dental issues, and he began his first dental career after earning his Dental Hygiene Degree from Vancouver Community College in 1988.

After several years helping people learn how to prevent dental issues, Dr. Kiss began his second dental education earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from UBC in 1996. Ever since, he has been passionate about helping people prevent dental issues with a focus on education.

As a dentist in Kamloops, Dr. Kiss believes that a person’s approach to dental care is shaped at a young age based on their experiences with their dental care providers. To help patients of all ages, his goal is to create as positive an environment as he can that is tailored to each person’s unique personal and oral health needs.

Born and raised in Kamloops, Dr. Kiss has lived here his whole life, except while he was in Vancouver for his dental education. You may have met him or his wife Tara (a fellow Kamloops native) in town or at various family events they’ve attended with their two children.
Dr. K-Lynn Hogh

General Dentist

Dr. Hogh completed her Bachelors and Masters of Science from UNBC.

She moved on to studying for her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Smile design and oral surgery are her key interest areas.

Dr. Hogh is focused on preventing disease through education and comprehensive dental care.

She was born and raised in Prince George-BC, thus she understands and hones towards delivering better patient care in our community.

In her free time, she enjoys painting, hiking, travelling or baking. Japanese (Sushi), Thai & Latin cuisines are amongst her favourites. She has 2 Shiba Inus dogs (Molar and Endo).
Dr. Jed Leech

General Dentist

After growing up in the Cowichan Valley located on Vancouver Island, Dr. Jed Leech attended the University of Victoria where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours). This was substituted with coaching water skiing camps for kids throughout the summers. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of British Columbia.

After 4 years in Vancouver for dental school, Dr. Leech was keen to explore a more rural lifestyle. He saw Pure Dental and Kamloops as the perfect work-life balance. With its ample options for exploring the outdoors and nature, Kamloops has a lot to offer. Simultaneously, Pure Dental has a great reputation, caring staff, and highly experienced dentists that ultimately made it the perfect fit.

Dr. Leech approaches dentistry from a preventative patient-centered perspective with an emphasis on patient education. He loves socializing and getting to know each patient’s unique story. He values relationships and is eager to build long-term connections with anyone in his chair.

Some of Dr. Leech's notable hobbies include nature, hiking, mountain/road biking, water/snow skiing, watching sports, online chess, and keeping up with world current events. Areas he looks to improve in are his cooking skills and flexibility.
