Booking Appointments

We recognize that your time is valuable, and we strive hard to ensure that we are on time for you, as we hope you will be for us.

If you schedule an appointment, please attend it. You will be charged for missed appointments.

We require24 hours notice if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. We will be happy to reschedule to meet your convenience.

A charge will be levied for missed non-rescheduled appointments.

Payment

It is customary to pay for professional services when rendered. Any other arrangements must be made in advance.

We will submit insurance claim forms for you, but your percentage not paid by insurance coverage is due at the time of the appointment.

In cases where the insurance company pays you, the patient, you are expected to pay the full amount at the time of your appointment and we will submit the insurance claim for you.

Dental Plan Information

Dental benefit companies do not inform dental offices of changes to your policy.

Benefit coverage is a contract between yourself, the insurance company and your employer, not the dentist. Should questions arise regarding your dental insurance benefits, it is best for you to contact your employer or the insurance company directly.

We suggest that you get updated information from your insurance company before making dental appointments. Many plans tell their participants that they will be covered, for example, "up to 80% or up to 100%" but do not clearly specify plan fee scedule allowance, annual maximum or limitations. It is more realistic to expect dental insurance to cover 35% to 65% of major services. Remember, the amount a plan pays is determined by how much the employer paid for the plan. You get back only what your employer puts in, less the profits of the insurance company.

We encourage our patients to be familiar with their dental plan in order to eliminate disappointments with payment and reimbursement. It is your responsibility to be aware of your dental plan coverage.
